Support

Free for anyone who owns an asset. If you want work done instead, whether that is a shader built, a project unstuck, or a full review of where your game is losing frames and feel, that lives on Consulting.

Free support covers the asset doing what the documentation says it does. If something is broken, unclear, or not behaving as described, that is on me and I want to hear about it.

Free support

Making it work

  • Something is broken or behaves differently than documented
  • Setup, installation and render pipeline configuration
  • How an existing feature is meant to be used
  • Compatibility with a Unity version, pipeline or platform
  • Upgrading to a newer version of the asset
  • Bug reports, always welcome, and they make the asset better
Paid work

Making it do something new

  • Custom shaders and effects built for your project
  • Modifying or extending the asset beyond what it ships with
  • Integrating it with your own systems or third-party tools
  • Debugging your game's code, rather than the asset's
  • Performance work on your project
  • Art direction and game-feel passes

The line is simply whether the asset is failing at its job or being asked to take on a new one. That second kind of request is genuinely welcome. It is just a build, and builds go faster as a proper piece of work than as a long support thread.

Not sure which side yours falls on? Just ask. I will tell you, and if it turns out to be a five-minute answer you will simply get it.

Four steps, and the first two solve most questions on their own.

  1. Check the asset documentation Pick the asset in the switcher on the left. Most questions are answered on a page that already exists.
  2. Read the Overview and FAQ Every asset has both. The FAQ is where the recurring problems live.
  3. Find your invoice number It is on your Unity Asset Store receipt. It tells me which asset and which version you are on, which is usually the whole answer.
  4. Get in touch Discord is faster and other people benefit from the answer. Email if it is account- or licence-specific.

Custom shaders, performance and polish work, and a fixed-price Project Review that tells you where a game is losing frames and feel. See Consulting.
