Overview

All In 1 3D Shader is one shader with over 45 stackable effects, driven from a custom Material Inspector. You get the look you want by ticking effects on and moving sliders, without writing shader code or wiring a graph.

Only the effects you enable are compiled into the material, so an unused effect costs nothing at runtime. That is what makes stacking cheap enough to be the normal way to work.

It covers several lighting models, all Unity light types, reflection probes and light baking, plus triplanar mapping, matcaps, anisotropic reflections, screen space effects and vertex colour workflows.

First Steps is the shortest path to something on screen. Effects List covers what each effect does, and Effects and Properties Breakdown gives the property and keyword names behind them.

If you are on URP, read URP and Post Processing Setup and URP Shader Feature Configuration early, since both affect what renders and how long shaders take to compile.

Coming from an existing project, Convert Materials to 3D Shader ports Standard and URP materials over and carries most of their properties across.

The demo scene has a worked example of most of it.
